This course introduces new users to the Nasdaq Calypso platform, a comprehensive front-to-back technology solution for financial markets. Built on more than 21 years of industry experience, Calypso provides a single, integrated platform that helps customers consolidate systems, innovate with confidence, and address complex business challenges with greater simplicity. 

As a front-to-back solution, Calypso delivers a single source of truth across the business, enabling faster decision-making and more efficient operational processes. The platform is real-time, workflow-based, open, and cross-asset by design, supporting functions across the front office, middle office, risk, treasury, regulatory compliance, collateral management, securities finance, clearing, margining, and post-trade processing for both cash and derivatives products. 

Participants will gain a clear understanding of how the Calypso platform supports Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office function across the trade lifecycle, including trading, processing, risk management, and accounting.  

The course provides a strong foundation for participants with little or no prior Calypso experience and prepares them for more advanced, in-depth learning paths. 

Through conceptual explanations, demonstrations, and guided learning materials, participants will be introduced to key aspects and capabilities of the Calypso platform while developing a practical understanding of its role in supporting end-to-end financial markets operations.

The bundle also includes our video-based learning approach, featuring over 120 videos that cover configuration setup, trade capture, and lifecycle events across various asset classes

Note: The license to this course does not include access to a live Nasdaq Calypso environment for hands-on practice. Course content is delivered through conceptual explanations, demonstrations, and guided learning materials.
